New Delhi: After the World Cup final in Southampton, Team India players will get a 20-day break from bio-bubble life in Britain.
Sources said the players will return to the bio-bubble for the five-Test series against England on July 14 after the end of June 24. Team India players come straight to the IPL bubble after the Test series against England.
Sources said that if the team gets a break from June 24 after the Test final against New Zealand, they will reunite around July 4 and prepare for the Test series against England from August 4.
The question of whether cricketers can go anywhere with little or no Kovid cases is no problem to stay inside Britain. But players and family need to be more vigilant, sources said.
Being in a bio-bubble is not easy. Also captain Virat Kohli also spoke about this before the team left for England. Constantly being in the bio-bubble can demoralize players. The pressure is increasing so a break is needed, Kohli said.
