New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Booth-level officials would visit each house to set the vaccine dates and the polls would be converted into vaccination centers for those over the age of 45 under the ‘Jahan Vote and Vahan Vaccination Campaign’.
There are 57 lakh people over the age of 45 in Delhi, of whom 27 lakh have been given the first dose and the remaining 30 lakh have to be given the Kovid vaccine, online.
Kejriwal also said that the Delhi government has sent notices to those over 45 years of age who have not come to the vaccine centers.
There are about 280 wards in Delhi. Chief ministers said booth-level officials would visit 72 wards tomorrow to identify eligible 45-year-olds at vaccination centers.
Polls don’t have to travel far to vaccinate people’s homes. He said the government has arranged e-rickshaws for the citizens to visit the vaccine centers.
