New Delhi: Olympic medalist wrestler Sushil Kumar has been remanded in judicial custody by a Delhi police for three more days.
Sushil Kumar was produced before Metropolitan Magistrate Rashmi Gupta and remanded in judicial custody for 14 days following the termination of four days of police custody.
Sushil Kumar, an international wrestler, was arrested by the police on May 23. Following his arrest, the court remanded him in police custody for six days. Then it was extended for another four days.
Sagar Rana, a young wrestler, was killed on May 4 at the Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi. Sagar was said to have been killed in a clash between Sushil and Sagar.
