Kathmandu: Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the misunderstanding with neighboring India has been resolved. He asserted that the neighbors share love and problems, and said the two countries should look to the future and move forward.
In a recent interview with the BBC Hindi Service, Oli acknowledged the differences between the two countries. However, he said the idea would not drag on.
Speaking to the nation on TV last month, he said the border conflict with India had been resolved through talks based on a historic agreement, maps and factual documents.
Yes. Was once misunderstood. But, now that misconception is gone. One should not cling to past misconceptions, but, look to the future. The 69-year-old Prime Minister of Nepal told the BBC that Nepal has a unique relationship with India like any other country.
