Jaipur: The 10th and 12th class general elections in Rajasthan have been canceled due to the spread of Govt virus.
Union ministers recently held consultations with state governments over the conduct of CBSE Plus 2 exams amidst the 2nd wave of Govt. Later, a high-level committee meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi was attended by Union Ministers Amit Shah, Prakash Javadekar and key top officials. After the meeting, Prime Minister Modi announced in a statement that the CBSE Plus 2 exam would be canceled in the interest of the students. Following this, it was announced that Plus 2 exams will be canceled in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
Following the two states, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Goa also announced the cancellation of the Plus 2 exam which was to be held in their respective states. It was announced that a decision will be taken in Tamil Nadu in 2 days. In Rajasthan, the state government has announced the cancellation of Class 10 and Plus 2 general examinations due to the spread of Govt virus.
