New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has lauded a retired Army Major for providing medical treatment to helpless animals roaming the roads during the Corona curfew.
Pramila Singh hails from Kota, Rajasthan. A retired Army Major, he has been providing food and medical care to animals roaming the desert streets for the past one and a half years since the corona spread began. His father Shyamveer Singh is also assisting in these tasks. Aware of this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written a letter of appreciation to Pramila Singh. It says: Your action in helping the animals around Corona Curtain Street know that they are suffering from lack of food is to inspire the community.
The corona period is difficult not only for humans but also for animals that live close to them. It is commendable that Major Pramila and his father will continue their work and encourage many more to engage in such services through their work. Thus it is said.
