Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has clashed with Prime Minister Modi, saying thousands of people have lost their lives in the country due to the delayed treatment of the central government over the free vaccine.

Mamata Banerjee tweeted earlier this evening that Prime Minister Modi had announced a free vaccine, saying, “The decision to give Kovid vaccine to people over the age of 18 should have been taken earlier.” Many have criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for delaying his decision.

“It took Modi four months to listen to the demands of the states. I wrote to the Prime Minister on February 21 and many times about our long-standing demand for a free vaccine for all. It took them four months to hear this. Finally, after a very stressful time, he listened to us. We have come forward to implement what we have said, ”Mamata tweeted.

Similarly, I wrote to the Prime Minister in February 2121 and several times, addressing our long-standing demand for free vaccines for all. But it took four months to make a decision. Millions lost their lives during this time. From the beginning of this epidemic, the well-being of the people of the country was to be given priority. Unfortunately, Modi’s delayed decision caused many to lose their lives. I hope this time the vaccine campaign will be a focus, not a mass.
