New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has questioned the central government as to why private hospitals are charging if Kovid vaccines are free for everyone.
One simple question-
If vaccines are free, why should private hospitals charge for them? #FreeVaccineForAll
– Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) June 7, 2021
Rahul Gandhi, the prime minister of India, has made a promise to the Supreme Court that Prime Minister Modi has declared a free vaccine for those over the age of 18. The Supreme Court has consistently taken down the central government over the vaccine campaign. Now the central government has relieved all pressure and announced a free vaccine. Rahul Gandhi tweeted that if the vaccine is being distributed for free, why are private hospitals charging for the vaccine?
16th Jan -Vaccination above 45 yrs
1st May -States to Pay 18-45 Yrs
21st June -Govt hospitals responsible for 18-45 yrs only for Govt.
DEMAND – Free Vaccination for All!
– Randeep Singh Surjewala (@rssurjewala) June 7, 2021
Responding to this, Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said the government has been demanding free vaccination. But the problem is not completely fixed. For the past several months, Manmohan Singh, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi have been demanding a central government. But the Modi government has denied it. The Supreme Court then took the Modi government. The central government, which has now come under pressure from the masses, has stated that it has partially accepted the demand for free vaccination for every citizen.
Similarly, instead of blaming state governments for the vaccine, the Modi government should admit their guilt. The Modi government has changed its vaccine policy on January 16, May 1 and now three times. This has resulted in the death of people without proper vaccine criteria. Surjewala demanded that the government should apologize to the people.
Similarly, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for announcing the free vaccine policy. Another Congress Party chief, Ashok Gehlot, also questioned Prime Minister Modi as he clarified which states are demanding that 18-44-year-olds be given the vaccine. Similarly, as far as I am aware, no state has such demand. Prime Minister Modi has said that he feels misunderstood.
