Kanpur: At least 17 people have been killed in a road accident in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, after a passenger bus and an auto collision.

At least 17 people were killed and 30 others were injured when a bus and auto collided in Sachendi, a suburb of Uttar Pradesh. The injured have been admitted to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital and some of the injured are in critical condition. The death toll may be further increased, police said.
The bus was traveling from Lucknow to Delhi. The bus was hit by auto in Sachendi, a suburb of Kanpur. As a matter of fact, the police rushed to the scene and hospitalized the victims. Uttar Pradesh’s IG Mohit Agarwal said four victims were being treated at Hallett hospital while more than 20 were admitted to Lala Lajpat Rai Hospital.
