Kerala: Kovid-19 infection persists in 39 students despite full vaccination

Thiruvananthapuram: Thrissur, Kerala Kovid-19 infection has been confirmed in 39 students who have been vaccinated with full-blown vaccine in government medical hospital, hospital officials said.

The first Kovid-19 infection was reported the day after 175 students of the second batch arrived on June 06, officials said. As the number of infections increases, the Covid test for all students of this batch was held on July 17. Students were allowed to go home because 20 people had been infected.

Only three batch students are on campus as exams are underway. Out of these batches, 39 students (all of whom had a two-dose vaccine) were infected, hospital officials said.

Students who were diagnosed with the infection were hospitalized. Particularly organized courses have allowed them to write theory tests.
