New Delhi: India’s first domesticated Kovid-19 vaccine, Kovacsin, is being tested on children between the ages of 2 and 18, the AIMS Institute of Delhi said.
Kovacsin trial has already begun on children at AIMS in Patna, India. AIMS will reveal how many children were tested after the inspection report came out.
The trial is being tested on 525 health workers. In the trial, the vaccine was administered via the intramuscular route in two doses from zero to 28 days.

The Drug Authority of India has approved the trial of Kovacsin in the 2nd and 3rd phases for 2 to 18 year olds on May 12. In India, adult use of Kovacsin is currently only permitted.
