Mangalore: A BJP meeting led by Minister S Angara was held at Saraswati Vidyalaya in Kadaba in the district, alleging that the Kovid guideline had been violated.
Hundreds of BJP workers were reported to have participated in Sunday’s meeting in violation of Kovid rules on a social networking site. Media access to the meeting was restricted.
Prakash, a website video journalist who went to report on the meeting, was videotaped by activists and verbally abused. More than 100 people attended the meeting, with several vehicles parked outside, alleging that about four people were prevented from making a video as they approached the school.

The distribution of homeopathic medicine, food kits and masks to Asha workers and other needy was also discussed, he said.
But it is learned that no government officials and doctors were involved in the meeting, as well as permission to hold the meeting.
