Bangalore: The High Command has intervened as the question of who will be the next Chief Minister of the Congress is unnecessarily confusing.
Former CM Siddaramaiah and KPCC president DK Shivakumar will travel to Delhi to discuss various issues with the High Command.
Discussions will be held on KPCC restructuring, upcoming, district and taluka panchayat elections, BBMP elections, and elections for 25 MLC seats. KPCC office bearers have not changed in the last 10 years, so KPCC restructuring is a major agenda
Although the revelations made by the KPCC leaders in this regard have been cracking down, its anguish is boiling inside as well. This is still a matter of debate in the inner circle of the party.
The leadership idea started by MLA Jameer Ahmed a few days ago The leadership idea started by Jameer Ahmed had taken on many dimensions. Pro-Siddaramaiah and pro-DK Shivakumar legislators started making statements. At one point the issue began to roll over as a matter of prestige for the two leaders.
Congress state in-charge Randeep Surjewala had written a letter warning not to make a public statement on who the next CM would be. Following this, the two faction leaders held a discussion at DK Shivakumar’s residence on Friday and demonstrated solidarity. After that they visited places like Bagepally together.
