New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (June 3) inspected the preparations and other arrangements for our athletes to take part in the ‘Olympics’ to be held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, starting in July.
The Olympics begin on July 23 in Tokyo, the capital of Japan. The task of selecting our athletes to participate in various competitions is underway.
So far, in 11 sports categories, up to 100 players have been selected. Also, the task of selecting 25 players, are to be completed soon.
In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (June 3) reviewed the readiness of the soldiers and other arrangements. Officials explained to the Prime Minister that athletes participating in the Olympics were given unrestricted training during the corona infection and were given two doses of the vaccine.
“In July, I will be talking to athletes participating in the Tokyo Olympics via video conference and encouraging them on behalf of 135 crore people,” Modi said.
