New Delhi: The central government, which has taken the issue of private hospitals with the Kovid-19 package in partnership with Star Hotels, said it was against the National Kovid Vaccine Campaign Guidelines and ordered it to stop immediately.
In this connection, it has been noted that some private hospitals are offering Kovid vaccine packages in partnership with the state government and the Union health ministry, some star hotels, which have written to the Union government. This is contrary to the National Covid Vaccine Program Guidelines. “The vaccine campaign in Star Hotels is against the government’s guidelines and should be stopped immediately,” said Dr Manohar Agnani, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health. The letter also recommended that legal and administrative action be taken against such organizations.
According to the Kovid Vaccine Campaign Guidelines, vaccines can be given here. If it operates in government hospitals, private hospitals, covid vaccines, government offices, covid vaccine centers, private hospitals, private companies, group housing societies, senior citizens and specialists Covidi vaccination campaign may be carried out temporarily in the elderly.
The vaccine campaign cannot be carried out anywhere else. Agnani said in the letter that the state governments and the Union Territories should look into the vaccine campaign as per the government guidelines.
