New Delhi: The central government has said that 2.60 crore doses of vaccine are still unused near states and union territories.

The Kovid vaccine campaign in the country has been very successful in the delivery of vaccine in several states. In the meantime, there have been reports of several states facing shortage of vaccines. However, the central government has said that more than 2.60 crore cases of covid vaccine remain pending or unused near the states and union territories.

42,15,43,730 dose vaccines have been issued to states and union territories by all sources. Of these, the total consumption, including waste or waste, is 39,55,31,378 doses, according to the central government data.

The government has reported that the availability of more vaccines, improved visibility of vaccine availability to states and central governments, and the implementation of a better plan and streamlining the vaccine supply chain have enhanced the vaccination program.
