Kotki: At least 30 people were killed when two express trains collided head-on in southern Pakistan.
The Sir Syed Express and the Millat Express collided head-on this morning (June 7) in the Kotki area of southern Pakistan’s Sindh province. Fourteen train carriages were derailed in the accident. Kotki district police and rescue teams said 30 people were killed and more than 50 were injured in the incident.
The injured were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. The cause of the accident was not disclosed. Authorities are investigating the incident.
