Bangalore: Former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has criticized the BJP, which has been campaigning for cow protection, for not responding to the treatment of foot-and-mouth disease in cows.
Former CM Kumaraswamy, who tweeted the affair series, said foot-and-mouth disease is contagious in livestock. It was a very serious disease and a vaccine campaign was to be launched by the Central Government. But without doing so, the state and central governments are causing the death of cows. Questioned what kind of gore it was.
Here is a fresh example of how the BJP will not protect cows unless it shouts in the street about ‘go’ protection. The central government has never conducted a vaccination campaign to control foot-and-mouth disease, a serious disease that appears in cows. The state government has not asked. Kumaraswamy tweeted that the cows are suffering now.
Last October, the central government had to launch a vaccination campaign for cows. However, veterinarians said he was not vaccinated because of Kovid19. What is the point of putting cows in the mouth of death now without conducting a vaccination campaign? Is this not the govt made by the Central and State Governments standing in front? He questioned.
Here is a fresh example of how the BJP will not protect cows unless it shouts in the street about ‘go’ protection. The Central Government has never conducted a vaccination campaign to control FMD, a serious disease of cows that causes foot-and-mouth disease. The state government has not asked. Now the cows are suffering.
